Simple yet elegant, this one-of-a-kind cheese slicer is the perfect tool for cutting and serving your favorite cheeses! The built in cutting arm can slice through any cheese, hard or soft, creating thick or thin slices with a perfect cut every time.
Each cheese slicer is made by hand and exemplifies our true love of woodworking. We use only the best quality woods either as repurposed hardwood scrap or from locally sourced supplies. We also offer a variety of different wood combinations including walnut, maple, cherry, ash, purpleheart, padauk (red), bloodwood (orange), yellowheart and bubinga (lighter redish) and can make any custom combination.
As with all of our kitchen and serving products, this cheese slicer has undergone a multi-stage finishing process, including several sanding steps, raising the grain with water, and a superfine sanding, followed finally by three coats of a food grade mineral oil and beeswax finish.
The cheese slicer can be cleaned with a washcloth and a small amount of soap and water. Do not soak in water or place in the dishwasher. Restore the finish and reseal the board periodically by applying a generous coating of mineral oil and letting it soak in for a brief period, wiping off the excess.
